We're sorry to see you go. Here's everything you need to know about deleting your Kelzo account and data.
🧑💼 Which account do you have?
Kelzo has three types of accounts. The deletion process differs slightly for each:
- School Admin — owns the school account and manages teachers
- Teacher — invited by the school admin, can grade answer sheets
- Student — added to the CRM by the school, can view results
📧 How to request deletion
Send us an email from the address registered to your account. We process all requests within 7 business days.
- Open your email app and compose a new email to mail@kelzo.ai
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
- In the body, include: your registered email address, your role (School Admin / Teacher / Student), and your school name
- We'll confirm receipt within 24 hours and complete the deletion within 7 business days

🗑️ What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your login credentials and profile information
- All answer sheets you uploaded and their grading results
- Revision notes and practice questions generated for you
- Your school's teacher and student CRM data (School Admin only)
- Credit transaction history associated with your account
⚠️ This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account and data are deleted, they cannot be recovered. Download any results or reports you need before requesting deletion.
📋 What we retain
Some data may be retained even after account deletion if required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics (no personal identifiers)
- Financial transaction records required for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years, as required by Indian law)
- Logs required for fraud prevention and security investigations
🏫 School Admin deletion
Deleting a School Admin account will also remove the school and all its associated data, including teacher accounts and student records linked to that school.
If you want to transfer ownership to another admin before deleting, mention this in your email and we'll assist with the transfer first.
